Description

Hot Stamping Foils

Until now, the finishing of textiles with Metallic Foils could only be achieved with a standard Flex or Flock material and had limited options. Only large logos and lettering could be plotted and transferred.

FOREVER Laser Dark (No-Cut) LowTemp transfer media can be easily Metalized, with the advantage that even the finest details can be transferred.

In the first step, a single colour design will be transferred with the A-Foil FINISHING onto the fabric. The application is identical to the normal Laser-Dark (No-Cut) LowTemp application. With an additional step in the design process metallized designs are achieved by using the Hot Stamping Foil.

With a choice of 51 different Hot Stamping Foils, detailed or even rasterized designs can be easily decorated. The typical limitations of the heat transfer process with Flex and Flock are now a thing of the past!

A-Foil

Laser-Dark (No-Cut) LowTemp A-Foil

This is the transfer media on which you print your image. The transparent material has a special top-coating that protects the toner. This improves durability and washability, even when applied at lower transfer temperatures (150 – 160 °C / 300 – 320°F).

No more guessing where the transfer is applied! The transparent foil gives precise placement on your garment.

B-Paper

Application

FINISHING WITH HOT STAMPING FOILS

Preparation of the Transfer:

Print your design using only BLACK TONER (4-color-black*).
Press with B-Paper (See Hot Stamping Foil Instructions).
Separate the A-Foil from the B-Paper while HOT, in a Slow, Low & Fluid Motion.
Cut around your transfer to remove the coating frame.

Application: Transfer to Textile

Place the transfer on your textile.
Press together (See Hot Stamping Foil Instructions).
Wait until the textile has completely cooled down, BEFORE removing the A-Foil FINISHING!

Application: Applying the Hot Stamping Foil

Place the desired sheet of Hot Stamping Foil on your design, cover it with a sheet of Matte Finish Economy.
Press together (See Hot Stamping Foil Instructions).
Wait until the Hot Stamping Foil has completely cooled down, BEFORE removing.
Wash resistant up to 40°C (Cold Wash Cycle).
TIP: Use a textile to rub over the finished design to remove leftover particles of the Hot Stamping Foil!

*4-Color-Black consists of 100% Cyan, 100% Magenta, 100% Yellow and 100% White and it‘s the perfect base for Hot Stamping Foils!
