How to check your image color values?
If you have ever used the FOREVER TransferRIP’s Calculation feature, then you will have noticed how each time you print your digital heat transfers, the cost of printing is always different.
By using Photoshop’s Eyedropper tool to uncover your image’s color values, we can get a better understanding of how the image has been built.
The video below is a Photoshop video tutorial which explains how to use the Eyedropper tool within Photoshop. The Eyedropper tool lets you scan your image by moving your mouse across the image, where it displays the actual color percentage values in the Eyedropper panel.
This is a really helpful tool for finding out how much toner your image will print. This is especially helpful if you decide to print your images without White Toner. When you print images with the white toner off, you need to have a minimum amount of 80% toner or 80% color value within your image.
Anything less than 80% toner and the transfer will not work.
