    Hi Don

Do you have the colour mapping available on your transfer rip. It will be on the right hand side on top. Once you select your media it will show above the box on the right hand side. That is were you change the toners. You would select the white toner and drag it into the cyan position then select the cyan toner and drag it into the white position. You then save your settings. You do all this with your printer on. You then change the toner and drum complete from white position and put that in the cyan position and same with the cyan that will go into the white position. When you set your white as you will need to increase the coverage you would increase this on the printer for the cyan position. It works perfect and I do clear labels and it works a treat. I use this setting more on the printer then I use it for t-shirts and garment printing in its normal position.

Ok this is now working perfectly. Thank you for all your help the white under print is working and its amazing. Now I can offer my customers this type of printing and waterslide etc. Must say forever you opened even more doors for me to expand what I can offer . Thank you for that.

    Hi
I have sorted it out. I bought an Adkins press and I have perfect transfers. I am actually amazed and did not think it could get any better but it has. So from now on I will only do what forever recommends and save myself any further problems.

So I must change the density of the colour where the white is mapped too? so I changed the density on white, but I put my white in the cyan location so I should adjust the cyan ?

How would I up load pics, sorry can’t find the upload button. It says I must type in the URL of the pic its on my desk top?

    Kind Regards

Yes +2 on page colour density and +3 on white toner density. It looks like half the amount of white toner compared to the original position. Can I upload pics for you to see?

    Hi
I did the download and it works. One small problem maybe you could help. The white is not as dense as when you overprint its more grey and seems broken up, when I print the same file as overprint with the white toner in its original position it is perfect. Is there a setting I am missing? I was printing on black card stock to see what my designs look like.
You guys are amazing I was going to sell my Oki 8432wt and buy a iColor 600 as I need this function but forever once again helped me out. I will never use another product Forever has made my life easy, I thank you for that.

    Many Thanks

    Hi
Great, thank you I got a long weekend testing ahead.
Thank you for all the replies and the advice I will test them all and see what is the better option. I will also try the highest pressure setting when fixing the design with the laser light. I have not been doing that I have always used just over the med pressure setting so just starting getting to the heavy pressure.

I hope you have a good weekend.

    Many Thanks

    Hi
Ok if I understand you correctly I must use the dark mask and set the shadow tolerance to 0. Do I leave everything else as before?.
If I load a psd file that has been rasterised into the forever rip do I use the same dark mask with the 0 shadow tolerance?

Am I correct in saying the forever dark has better washability then the forever light or am I just doing something wrong?
I have the Oki 8432wt printer and use the forever rip with a stahls fusion press. I was told that I am not pressing with enough pressure I press at the exact pressure that forever recommend. I did go up a little but did not change the washability was not as good as the laser dark?

I will try the settings you suggested today and see how they go. Thank you very much for your reply and help.

    Kind Regards

    Hi
Thank you for your reply. I will try the light mask with the 400 shadow tolerance and see how it turns out.
Could I rasterise the graphic as per your photoshop instruction? And print direct through printer. Would I keep the washability and sharpness of my graphic using this method?.

    Many Thanks

May I ask what heat press you are using? I have a stahls stx20 auto clam and used forever products. I was happy and did not find the washability to be as bad as you are saying. I bought and upgraded to a Stahls fusion swing away press as I needed another press so thought why not and well the difference is night and day to tell you the truth and it seems to be all down to consistent pressure over the whole platen area. The clam shell is a good press but the swing away is perfect I was a little shocked as I don’t have any 0% failed a-b marring issues and 0% pressing to garments issues. I am really happy with the washability and with the testing I have done have always come out above expectation. One thing I will say follow the instructions check your platen heat is set right and not just to the digital read out. Pressure is a big factor in my opinion but thats just what I think.
